What we do...

We are a charity that provides an activities club and support for our members who are living with dementia and ongoing memory problems, and their families, friends and support workers, from our centre in Hexham.

We’re managed by our team of trustees, co-ordinators and volunteers and offer a large range of activities which focus on having fun together and building friendships.

​

Members are welcome to join in our activities along with their family and friends.  Alternatively, our tailored 1:1 member support allows members to enjoy activities with us in a safe environment while family and friends have some time to themselves. 

We also have a monthly Family Members Support Group on the first Wednesday of each month. This is a chance for family members to share their experiences and gain valuable information. There's also an informal coffee–and–chat group for family members no longer attending Chrysalis.
